Day 2 Beijing
Upon arrival in Beijing,you are met by the local guide and transferred to the capital Hotel(or similar)
Day 3 Beijing(B,L,D)
After breakfast,visit Tiananmen Square,then enter the Forbidden City.After lunch,visit the Temple of Heaven, one of the best examples of Chinese architecture in Beijing,then visit the Summer Palace.
Day 4 Beijing(B,L,D)
The highlight today is a full-day excursion to the Great Wall at Badaling-one of the most famous portions of the Great Wall.After lunch,visit the Ming Tombs.In the eveing,enjoy a welcome banquet featuring Beijing Roast Duck.
Day 5 Beijing/Xi'an(B,L,D)
In the morning,enjoy a pedicab tour of the old Hutong,the "old city" neighborhoods area.Visit Prince Gong's Palace, the Drum Tower and old -style courtyard houses.After lunch,fly to Xi'an and be transferred to the Sheraton Hotel(or similar)
Day 6 Xi'an (B,L,D)
Today's highlight is the Terra-cotta Warriors' Museum,home to more than 6,000 life-size terra-cotta warriors and horses excavated from the tomb of the first emperor of the Qin Dynasty.After lunch,take a tour of the ancient city walls,the Big Wild Goose Pagoda and the Shaanxi History Museum.In the evening,attend a Tang Dynasty dinner show.
Day 7 Xi'an/Chongqing(B,L,D)
Take a morning flight to Chongqing.Enjoy a city tour,including Erling Park,the Painters' Village,then board the luxurious cruise ship "Splendid China"(or President Cruise) after dinner.
Day 8-10 Yangtze River Cruise(B,L,D)
Start your cuise along the Yangtze River.Relax on the boat,enjoying the beautiful scenery of the Three Gorges,viewing the Qutang Gorge,Wu Gorge and Xiling Gorges,and enjoying a side trip to Shennong Stream.Shore excursions Take you to Fengdu,the "Ghost City",San dou ping the site of the world's largest Dam Project,and several other stops along the river.
Day 11 Wuhan(B,L,D)
Disembark at Wuhan and be transferred to the Holiday Inn Hotel.Afternoon sightseeing includes the Yangtze River Bridge and Gui Yuan Temple.
Day 12 Wuhan/Shanghai(B,L,D)
After breakfast,visit the Yellow Crane Tower,East Lake and the Hubei Provincial Museum,then board an afternoon flight to Shanghai.Upon arrival,be transferred to the Jianguo Hotel(or similar)
Day 13 Shanghai(B,L,D)
Morning sightseeing starts with the Shanghai Museum,one of the best museums in the country.Proceed to the Jade Buddha Temple,famous for its huge statue of Buddha carved out of a single piece of white jade.In the afternoon,visit the Bund and the Children's Palace,where school children participate in after-school activities.
Day 14 Shanghai/Guilin(B,L,D)
After breakfast, take a morning flight to Guilin.Upon arrival,be transferred to the Royal Garden Hotel (or similar),then begin your city tour in including Reed Flute Cave and Fubo Hill.
Day 15 Guilin(B,L,D)
Today,we have another cruise along the beautiful Li River.After disembarking the boat at Yangshuo,you can walk around the market,then take a coach back to Guilin.Attend a farewell banquet of the local specialties and a colorful minority cultural show in the evening.
Day 16 Guilin/Guangzhou/Hongkong(B,L)
Morning flight to Guangzhou(Canton),the Largest city in southern part of China.After the tour of Dr Sun Yat-sen's Memorial Hall,and Chen Family Temple,you will take the train to HK in the late afternoon.
