I. Installation:

To drill one hole for induction head (diameter 33-35mm) in the right position of your door and fix the induction head on the door. Open the back cover of the lock, first connect well the lead line of induction head and lock (4pins white cable), to fix the lock body tightly on the door with 4pcs screws and then cover the back panel and tighten the screws.

Make sure the screws are tightened, the connector is connected well and buckle the spare cables to avoid the affect to the inner parts. The magnet in the door buckle box maybe is affected under the high temperature. Please use the door closer to make sure the door can return former position normally and notice the mortise can stretch out freely, the mortise can move freely when turning the inner knob by hand or open the door by card. As there are electrical parts and PCB inside the lock, we suggest installing with screws for the convenience of maintenance.



II. Electric connection and Parameters

LY08HM adopts external power, parameter: DC6V-12V, static power is about 60mW. Maximum running power is 0.3w(Instant power). The opening signal voltage is DC6v-12v and pulse width is 10MS-500MS. With TM smart card for key, maximum user quantity is 1023.

Backup battery adopts AA super power battery (4*1.5v alkaline battery, open times is about 16000). When the battery voltage is not enough, there will be alarm for tip (4 short sounds alarm from buzzer, with LED flashing). Please change the battery in time.

When there is open signal or valid key operation, the motor actuate the opening; if the door is not opened within 5 seconds, the motor will rotate back and lock the door automatically; if the door is open, the motor will rotate back and lock the door only when the door is on the close position; if the door is not closed well, the mortise can not reach to the normal position, the lock will alarm. Please open the door and close it again.

There is only one exclusive master key for each lock; different locks can use the same master card and key. With the master card, you can add or delete 1022 users at maximum (LY08HM-BXXX type). The user cards cannot be cleared up when setting the master cards; you can use the new master card to clear all the valid user cards.
