Overview

The Wireless Access Terminal MT2090 is designed to provide a flexible and cost-effective solution of public communication in the places where GSM network is more accessible than PSTN, e.g. trains, ships, and exhibitions, etc. With high receiving sensitivity and interference resistance, the terminal can provide reliable service like standard tone phone. It is an ideal choice for the GSM network carrier to maximize the subscribers and network usage.

Basic Functions

• Capable to make calls if connecting to an ordinary telephone

• Permitted or barred call numbers are configurable

• Flexible control of receiving and charging the incoming calls

• Support Calling Line Identification Presentation (DTMF mode)

• Support SIM card locking (terminal refuses to take any other SIM card except the one set to be accepted) and encrypting SIM card with PIN code automatically

• Locking onto a specified GSM carrier and base station is programmable

• Provided with roaming indicator and roaming control capability

• Capable to continue working upon power breakdown with optional external storage battery

• Provided with power-saving function when terminal is in standby status

• Generate exact polarity reversal signal for metering device to start charging a call

• Prepend of auto IP for a long-distance calls dialing
