Mobile Fingerprint Scanner (MFS) provides users with the ability to collect fingerprints and identify suspect identities anytime and anywhere. MFS is small, light and easy to carry. It can be connected to cell phones and PDAs, and can send fingerprint data to matching server and retrieve comparison results through the mobile network (including the mobile network of China Mobile and China Unicom).
The system is immediately applicable through connection and deployment with the criminal investigation automatic fingerprint identification system of the public security department.
This technology is the first of similar inventions in China, and has won many patents and the financial support of the national innovation fund.
