Properties:
The product is a kind of straw yellow solid or sticky cream, with a slight sharp odor, water soluble. After dissolution, it turns to be sticky liquid and soluble in dimethyl carbinol, alcohol and water. It is acid-, earthy water-, and inorganic salt-proof but not alkali-proof. Quaternnary ammonium hydrate (strong alkali) may be obtained after reaction with strong alkali. It features strong water affinity, electricity-proof, germicidal activity, and soft reconditioning. It is a kind of hyamine-type cationic furfactant.
