Dispersiblea and high temperature resistant type oil field grade xanthan gum is produced by fermentation of carbonhydrate with Xanthomonas campestris, specially used in oil drilling and expoitation as mud additive. When in oil drilling application, it can improve the penetration rate, keep stability of pit shaft, raise efficiency of hole cleaning and rheological, reduce the pressure loss.
