3. The origin and principles of electrolytic water ionizer

How does water ionizer transform the common tap water into ionized water? First of all, it is different from any water purifier, mineral pot or magnetized pot etc. which are exposed to us. All sorts of water purifiers put on the market centers round the “purification”, whereas the water ionizer can not only purify and mineralize water but also mainly change the structure and element of water through electrolyzed water. The ionized water is a kind of functional water.
The basic principles of water ionizer are as follows: chlorine, harmful funguses and iron rust in the tap water are eliminated via good filtration system, and then the alkaline ionized water and acidic ionized water are produced through electrolysis, besides, bigger water molecular clusters is split up into smaller water molecular clusters which increase the activity, seepage force and dissolving power of water.

(1) The course of purification
The tap water firstly enters into the purified unit via water inlet pipe: iron rust, tiny mud, peculiar smell, residual chlorine and a variety of organic substances are filtered off and gotten rid of through rough filtration, sterilization, adsorption and ultrafiltration, then the water can be drunk directly.
(2) The course of mineralization
Add the mineral substances that may dissolve in water in the purified water so as to provide the human body with various mineral substances and microelements.

(3) The course of electrolysis
The mineralized water enters into the electrolyzing and activating channel in which there is a set of circuit and electrolysis unit used to control voltage and impulse frequency. Under the action of specific frequency of impulsive direct-current electric field, hydrogen bond between the water molecules is partly opened and the smaller clusters water made up of 5 to 6 water molecules is produced (the tap water is bigger clusters water made up of 13 to 14 water molecules). Meanwhile, with the action of electric field power, cations in the water, such as Ca+, Mg+ and K+ etc., move towards the cathode, and the water flowing out presents alkalinity which is called alkaline electrolyzed water; whereas, anions in the water, such as CL-, So- and NO- etc., move towards the anode, and the water flowing out presents acidity which is called acidic electrolyzed water.

■ Secondary filter: precisely filter chlorine, peculiar and bacteria in water .
■ Electrolytic bath: the filtered water is electrolyzed and separated, then the alkaline ionized water rich in calcium ion and magnesium ion etc. is produced at the cathode which is fit for drinking. Meanwhile, the acidic ionized water rich in chlorine ion, phosphorus ion and sulphur ion etc. is produced at the anode which is fit for cleaning, sterilization and beautification.
