Character:colorless oily liquid.The melting point is about -15 ℃, the boiling point is 230 ℃, 114-115 ℃ (1.6kPa), the relative density is 0.8894 (20/4 ℃), the refractive index is 1.4766, the flash point is 76 ℃.Soluble in ethanol, ether, propylene glycol, mineral oil and animal oil, insoluble in water and glycerol.Geraniol geometrical isomers called neroli.Neroli boiling point 224-225 ℃ (99kPa), the relative density of 0.8756 (20/4 ℃).Geraniol, nerol in the presence of a copper catalyst heating, can be rearranged into citronellal, citronellol can be reduced to geraniol.

Usage:Used in many flavors such as cherry, peach, raspberry, grapefruit, red apple, plum, lime, orange, lemon, watermelon and blueberry flavors.
