PTCR ceramic ring for measuring temperature:

The working theory of the measuring ring is based on that it will contract while absorbing the heat (the linear contraction within the measuring span). You can find out the actual accumulated quantity of heat for the measuring ring and the measured products and get the measured temperature according to the conversion table. The measuring ring can be put anywhere in the kiln, such as on the kiln furniture, in the kiln car or on the carrier plate or just with the measured product. The contraction percentage of the ring’s diameter can accurately feedbacks the real temperature at its location. And the common micrometer calipers can be used to measure the ring’s diameter easily. For the precision and the convenience, each batch of measuring rings will have a specific conversion table attached. Please make sure that the production batch No. on the measuring ring should correspond with that on the conversion table in order to use properly.
