Established on December, 2006, located in Hengdian Electronic Industry Park, Zhejiang Province, and occupied an area of over 60,000 square meters, Zhejiang TOSPO High-tech Basalt Fibre Co., Ltd. specialize in the research, manufacture and distribution of continuous basalt fibers & its related composites. As one of the Members of Basalt Fiber Industry of Hengdian Group and together with Hengdian Group Shanghai Russia & Gold Basalt Fibre Co., Ltd., Zhejiang TOSPO High-tech Basalt Fibre Co., Ltd. is the only high-tech enterprise undertaking the national project of basalt fiber industrialization in China by participating National High Technology Research & Development Program (National 863 Project) and aims at being the largest production base for basalt fiber in the world.
With natural volcanic rock as raw material without any additive, our company uses patented flame furnace and electrical furnace to produce continuous basalt fibers with different filament diameters by “one-step” process.
Based on the outstanding comprehensive properties of resistance to high temperature and super-low temperature, thermal stability, chemical stability, waterproof and low moisture absorption etc, continuous basalt fiber and its reinforced composites can be used in various fields including national defense, fire protection, heat insulation, infrastructure, environmental protection, structural strengthening and city security defense and so on.
