Perlite fireproof door core board, a new product in China, is consisting of expanded perlite and inorganic glue. It is non hazardous, enviromentally and user friendly; It is light, density is 250-300kg/m3; It can be cut to fit the size of door; It has good performance on fireproofing,heat insulation and sound insulation. Widely used in wooden and steel fire doors and places with high fireproof , heat & sound insulation demands. The burning behaviour of this product is classified as A1, the highest rate, in accordance with GB 8624-2006, classification on burning behaviour for building materials of China. Currently, it is the best material for fire doors and the only product can meet the requirement of GB 12955-2008, new standard for fire door of China, which will be coming into force on 01/01/2009.
